Today's My Birthday..... But It's Also A Tribute To J Dilla

Every year since 2006, on February 10th, I think of one of the most influential hip hop producers to ever live, J Dilla, who passed from compications to lupus. February 10th also happens to be my birthday, and for one of my all time favorites to pass away that same day, it's kind of bittersweet, you know? Anyway... the above video is of Detroit artist's speaking on what made Jay Dee so great. For me? It was no gimmicks, just a true love and passion for his craft. R.I.P.
